Contributions
The Foundation accepts contributions from individuals, corporations, civic groups and other foundations. All donations are tax-deductible and support enrichment programs within the Altoona Area School District.
The Foundation is financially-accountable for the administration and evaluation of any grant which it receives or provides.
All grants and funds are provided at the discretion of the Foundation Board of Directors.

Memorial Gifts
The AASD Foundation welcomes memorial contributions. All donors receive a letter of thanks and the family for whom the memorial contribution was made receives an acknowledgement from the Foundation.
The John Monti Scholarship Fund is administered by the Foundation. This fund provides a $500 scholarship which is awarded to a deserving AAHS senior each year at Commencement. Special contributions in memory of Altoona's "Grand Gentlemen of Music" are welcome and will help to permanently endow this fund.
As with all Foundation contributions, memorial gifts are tax-deductible.
