School Board Information

Due to inclement weather, the Altoona Area School District is on a two hour delay, Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

The following schedule changes have been made to the Altoona Area School District Sports schedule for Monday, January 26:  

  • The AAHS Boys’ Basketball game vs. Bishop McCort at the AAHS Fieldhouse is canceled.
  • The AAHS Swim meet vs. Northern Cambria scheduled at the AAHS Fieldhouse is canceled and has been rescheduled for February 5 at the AAHS Fieldhouse.
  • The AAHS Girls Basketball game vs. Johnstown scheduled for Tuesday, January 27 at the AAHS Fieldhouse will be Varsity ONLY with the game beginning at 7:30 p.m.
  • AAJHS 9th Grade Girls Basketball game vs. Mifflin County scheduled at the AAJHS Fieldhouse is canceled as well as the 7th & 8th grade (White Team) Girls Basketball games.  The games will not be rescheduled.
