Mrs. Mislevy works with students diagnoised with a hearing loss. She provides services that include maintenance of hearing aids/FM Systems, practice for listening skills, instruction for reading and English class, and tutors the students on vocabulary and information from other classes. Mrs. Miselvy travels all across the district, meeting with students in their home schools.

Mrs. Mislevy attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education of Persons with a Hearing Loss, a second certification in Elementary Education, and a Masters in Literacy including a reading specialist certification. She is also certified as a Secondary English Teacher.

Mrs. Mislevy has worked for Altoona Area School District since 1999. She is married and has one son. She enjoys reading, baking, and gardening when she is not at school.
