The Projects
Venture Grants for Teachers
The foundation will award grants of up to $1,000 to teachers to aid them in
designing and developing educational materials and innovative projects to enhance student learning.
Educator-in-Residence
The Foundation will bring distinguished speakers, musicians, artists and the like to the school district to share their expertise with students, staff and community.
Funding Requests
The Foundation will also provide funding for academic and cultural
enrichment projects for the benefit of all district students.
The Mission
The purpose of the Foundation is to develop, promote and finance educational programs, activities and projects for the Altoona Area School District.
