Community Education Center

The Altoona Area School District's Community Education Center was established in 1969. For over 45 years, the Center has provided adult educational opportunities in Blair County.

The program is contracted to serve adult students annually through funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  The Altoona Area School District offers free adult education classes for adult learners participating in adult basic education (ABE), English as a Second Language (ESL), and those working on obtaining their GED.

The Community Education Center is located in Altoona at 200 E. Crawford Avenue. All programs and materials are provided at no charge to the participants.
