Director of Human Resources

 

Seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources.  BA in Education or HR required, MA preferred. Five (5) years’ experience including collective bargaining, federal/state regulations, data technology coordination. Public education experience preferred.

Send letter of interest, Administrative Application along with transcripts, 3 letters of reference, Act 168 forms, and current clearances to the Superintendent’s Office, 1415 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, PA  16602. 

NOTE: Applicant must complete the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release for their current employer AND must also complete one disclosure for each of the applicant's former employers that were school entities or where the applicant was employed in a position having direct contact with children! Assistant Business Manager

Twelve-month position available; Bachelor’s in accounting required, CPA, preferred.  Minimum of 5-7 years’ knowledge of PA public school operations required.   Experience in budget prep, fund accounting, state & federal reporting, child accounting, payroll/benefits admin., insurance.  Excellent written/oral communication skills necessary.  Excellent EXCEL skills required; proficient computer skills necessary.
