The Altoona Area School District is looking for a Director for its Police Services Department who will ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all students, faculty, and staff within the confines of the AASD. Must be able to supervise and train Police Services Staff and enforce all state and local laws within the scope of the School District Police Services. Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field; 7-10 years’ experience in related field. Must be familiar with NIMS training/certification as well as Emergency Response Plans, Procedures and Policies. Must be Act 120 Certified; CPR and First Aid Certified, and have a valid PA Driver’s License.
