The Altoona Area School District currently utilizes a FastTrack online application system in order to apply for a position with the District.
Applications are accepted at any time during the year and are typically kept on file for a period of one (1) school year.
Applicants are responsible in ensuring that their application information is up-to-date.

The positions you see listed on FastTrack are not all open positions. FastTrack is utilized to house ALL applications coming into the District whether they are solicited or unsolicited.
Typically a specific open & posted position will have a department and location attached to the posting, as well as a deadline date to apply.
If there are no vacancies, any applications submitted will remain on this site for a period of at least one (1) school year. You may update your application at any time after submission. In order to keep your application from being purged, there must be log-in activity.
NOTICE TO APPLICANTS: All applicants seeking employment should submit their application materials online for review by Administration. Application materials should be updated regularly and uploaded accordingly. In the event there is a vacancy, application materials will be reviewed and screened by the appropriate Administrative team members and applicants will be selected for interviewing.
Once applicants are selected, the District will initiate a comprehensive and competitive interviewing process. Depending on the position, there may be up to three (3) interviews conducted prior to selecting a candidate to recommend to the Altoona Area School District Board of Directors for employment.
