Flexible Instruction Day

Due to the inclement weather and expected unsafe travel, all AASD schools will be operating on a Flexible Instruction Day (FID), Monday, January 26, 2026. Administration offices, school offices and the AASD Tax Office are closed to the public.

All materials needed to participate in instruction will be sent home with students today. If a family has reported no Internet access, teachers will send home hard copies of the instructional materials for off-line work. Staff will be available during the regular school day hours and can be reached via email for questions and/or support.

All students are expected to attend school virtually as instructed and complete all work unless they are absent and the parent/guardian plans to send an excuse. If no excuse is sent, the day will be marked as unexcused.

Student transportation for public, non-public and charter schools is canceled due to the weather conditions.
