The Inventionland curriculum is taught in the AAHS Entrepreneurship class. Students enrolled in the class identify a problem, ideate a solution and then develop a protype and marketing campaign for their idea/invention.
Students in Mr. Jesse Frailey’s entrepreneurship traveled to Pittsburgh to compete in the Inventionland competition in Pittsburgh. While there, they pitched their product to a panel of judges. Students are tested on their research, marketing, public speaking skills and overall presentation.
AAHS students Isabella Graham and Angela Petrarca both received awards for their projects; Isabella – Gold Level Inventor for her project: The Retainer Maintainer; and Angela Petrarca – A Silver Level Inventor for her project: Wag Swag.
