Operation Recognition

If you, or someone you know, served in the military during  World War II, Korean War or Vietnam and that service interrupted your high school education, there is a way you can receive your diploma from the Altoona Area School District.

Operation Recognition allows Pennsylvania school districts to grant a high school diploma to any honorably discharged veteran who served in the United States military during World  War II, Korean War or Vietnam War, according to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
