PSU Engineering Ambassadors visit AAHS

AAHS Physics students participated in hands-on lessons taught by Penn State University Engineering Student Ambassador on Friday, November 12. The ambassadors worked with students in Mr. Borst’s, Mr. Rupeka’s and Mr. Geis’ classes on lessons related to designing wind turbines, building a tennis racquet and designing artificial limbs.

AAHS Senior Mike McCloskey Meeting His Fitness Goals

The COVID-19 pandemic caused all of us to change our daily schedules.  We found ourselves spending more time at home, many of us not going out much at all.  For students, school temporarily transitioned to online learning.  There was a lot of time spent on mobile devices and not a lot of activity for us to get involved.
Inspired and motivated by his teacher Tom Palfey, McCloskey used this time to improve his fitness.

Lady Lions Win D6 Title

The Lady Lion soccer team won its third consecutive District 6 title by defeating Mifflin County 3-1 and now advance to the sub-regional game.

AAHS Homecoming Check Presentation

AASD Comprehensive Plan
