AAHS Student- Athletes Recognized

Senior athletes who have made the commitment to continue their athletic pursuits at the post-secondary level were recognized at a college signing ceremony on Monday, March 29.

School Meal Order Form

Please complete the form if you would like to order from the Altoona Area School District Food Program. ***Distribution will be in the bus lane on 2nd Avenue, in front of the building. Traffic flow will be in one direction only. Please approach with the building on the passenger side of your vehicle.*** This order form is intended only for those students participating in full time virtual or cyber programs. Students attending face to face instruction receive meals daily and have the option to take meals home at the end of each school day.

Academic Assistance Now Available Grades 9-12

Are you an AAHS student in need of Academic Assistance? Help is available to all students after school in the library, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00-4:00pm. Monday and Wednesday, Math and English teachers are available; Tuesday and Thursday, Science and Social Studies teachers are available. Please take advantage of this opportunity to help you get back on track!

A Penny's Thoughts

For some the idea of writing and publishing a book never gets beyond the thought of actually doing it. That is not the case for AAHS social studies teacher Tom Fox.
After contemplating the idea for nearly 15 years and scribbling ideas on and off, Fox recently accomplished not only his goal of writing a book, but also the goal of becoming a published author.

With Skylert, families have the ability to change and add contact numbers and email addresses for emergency notifications. Once logged into the Skyward Family Access, click on Skylert on the General Information menu on the left navigation bar. Your Skylert settings will display. If you wish to make changes, click on Edit on the right of the screen. Please be sure to verify your information in order to ensure you receive messages related to emergency notifications, school delays and school cancellations.
