If your child requires daily medication at school, a doctor’s order is required yearly. The medication must be in the original prescription bottle.

Please contact your child’s school nurse with any specific questions or medical needs.

PLEASE NOTE:

Students may only be dismissed for medical reasons by their school nurse as they are the only personnel able to authorize this type of dismissal. If a nurse determines a student should be sent home due to illness or injury, a parent or guardian will be contacted by the school nurse. If a student has not been seen by their school nurse prior to pick up for a medical dismissal, the dismissal will be coded as unexcused.
